NH: Hi James. Thank you for taking time to talk to Ninja Hockey.

JD: My pleasure Scott. I love talking about hockey and your fantastic new website does an excellent job of that.

NH: Why don't we start with some history. How did you get started?

JD: Well, like most kids, when I went to my first game I was blown away by watching pros play hockey and I knew right then that playing hockey was how I wanted to spend my life. The very next day my dad bought me some used skates and an old stick and we went to the nearest frozen pond... and like most kids, the first time I went out on the ice I fell flat on my ass... didn't matter. I got up and fell again about 20 times. I think by the end of that day I was able to make a complete lap around the pond without falling.
